Only 8 14:08:2008 -  Webstore News

Only 8 days to go! Excited yet? We are! We simply can't express how honoured we are to have the legendary FRONT 242 on the Infest stage!!! Yes!!! FRONT 242!!! At Infest!!! Next week!!! It really is happening!!!

We can happily say that our official Infest webstore trial this year has been a storming success and we're really glad we were able to offer you a fast and secure way to buy your tickets and accommodation online! 2008 was the first year we used the webstore and we just want to thank everyone for being so supportive while we got it up and running. Thank you!

The webstore will be going offline on 23.59 on Wednesday 20th August 2008 to give us time to sort out last minute sales before we head up to Bradford for the gig. This means you will no longer be able to buy Infest tickets from us after this date. T-shirts will be available to buy at the venue but we usually sell out of them very quickly over the weekend - order them in advance from our webstore so you don't miss out!

14:08:2008 -  Accomodation News

As stated a few weeks ago, the University Halls have sold out of all rooms for Infest 2008. We already have a long reserve list of people waiting for cancellations so please check out the following link if you still have nowhere to stay.

http://www.visitbradford.com/accommodation/

If you're staying in halls, please heed the following!!

The Wardley House rooms are strictly one person to a room, and the rooms at Arkwright are for a maximum of 2 people to a room (even though the rooms ARE singles!). We have a very good thing going on with the owners of the Halls - please don't put the future hire of cheap accommodation at risk by trying to cram more people into your room.

Please look after your halls room and the communal areas to which you have access. Last year, some damage occurred in the common room at Wardley and EVERYONE staying in Wardley lost a fraction of their deposit to cover the cost of repairs because no-one came forward to accept responsibility for the damage. Please be vigilante and immediately report any damage. Deductions from deposits DOES happen! If you do cause any damage (we fully appreciate that accidents happen!) please let the porters and us know as soon as you can! We always hope that everyone will act responsibly in the halls so everyone's full deposits can be returned quickly - please make it happen this year!

Look out for each other... look after each other... keep that Infest community vibe alive.

See you all next week!

10:04:2008 -  The line-up is complete!!
And what a way to complete the list - Project Pitchfork's Peter Silles brings his demented, playful gothic dance beats to the UK for the first time in the form of Santa Hates You, vampiric Templar Knights Heimataerde also make a UK debut, and we're delighted to respond to your hundreds of requests to see Deviant UK back in Bradford.

The best Infest yet? But of course!

05:04:2008 -  More acts announced!

German rhythm n noise doesn't come much better than 100blumen and you'll find out this August. Plus we've managed to bring the legendary Snog and their inimitable brand of politically-charged electro all the way from Australia. See the artists page for more info.

27:03:2008 -  More acts announced!

Dark Electro legends Tyske Ludder make their UK debut with their strongest line-up yet. And lush, perfect electropop balances the aggression as Greece's premier synthpop duo Marsheaux take the stage too. Even tho we say so ourselves, this year's festival is looking pretty damn fine! See the artists page for more info.

26:03:2008 -  FRONT 242 official site

But there's more! Germany's storming electro act Noisuf-X are on the bill along with more homegrown quality beats in the form of Coreline. We're good to you.

For full details please visit http://www.musicnonstop.co.uk/

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the guys for tirelessly supporting Infest and the scene for 9 years. If you have ever dealt with them you will know that their service and enthusiasm knew no limits, and we wish them the very best of luck in the future.

11:03:2008 - Grendel confirmed!

03:03:2008 - First acts announced!

We are proud and delighted to announce the first of this year's acts. Germany's Steve Naghavi brings his 'bodypop' juggernaut And One to the UK this August. We have had countless requests from you to see this legendary band play Infest and finally we are able to deliver them. If you've ever seen them live before, you'll know how excited we are!

It's also fantastic to keep finding homegrown talent and Manchester's SkinjoB will have no trouble holding their own against the imported acts. Check the artists page for more info!

13:02:2008 - Another ticket outlet announced.

Tickets for the event are now available from Ticketweb. Visit the tickets page for more information.

06:02:2008 - Webstore temporarily down for maintainance.
